To add a blog post in WordPress, follow these steps:
- Log into your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to “Posts” -> “Add New”. This will open a new page where you can create your blog post.
- Give your post a title by typing it in the box at the top that says “Add title”.
- Start typing the text of your post. You can add other content like images by clicking on the “+ block inserter” icon.
- Once you’re satisfied with your content, click the gear icon in the top right corner to open the settings for your post2. Here you can adjust the status and visibility of your post, decide whether to pin the post to the top of your blog, assign the post to other authors or editors for review, and more.
- Finally, click “Publish” to make your post live on your site.
Remember, if you want your blog to be accessible from a specific menu, you can add it to your menu by going to “My Site” -> “Menus”, clicking on the “+” symbol, selecting where you’d like the new menu item, and choosing “Page” -> “Blog”.
