To remove a word from the blacklist in WordPress, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings: In your WordPress admin dashboard, navigate to “Settings”.
- Select Discussion: Click on the “Discussion” option.
- Locate the Comment Moderation Section: Scroll down to the “Comment Moderation” section.
- Edit the Blacklist: Here, you’ll see a list of words and phrases that are currently being blocked. To remove a word, simply delete it from the list.
- Save Changes: After removing the unwanted word, scroll down and click on “Save Changes” to apply the updates.
Remember, if you’ve added words to the “Disallowed Comment Keys” section, which sends comments containing these words directly to the Trash, you’ll need to navigate to the same section and remove the words there as well.
