As regulations around privacy and protection evolve, we are making changes to the way personal information is handled in the WHOIS database.
We’ll soon stop offering Private Registration as a standalone product and will upgrade Private Registration to a new product called Full Domain Privacy & Protection at no additional charge. It will include these features:
- Protects against active threats like domain hijackers and malicious transfers
- Safeguards from honest mistakes like accidental transfer or expired credit cards
- Prevents spam with private email forwarding
We are also upgrading Protected Registration to Ultimate Domain Protection & Security for some customers. This product includes all the features of Full Domain Privacy & Protection, plus Website Security Basic, which provides automatic malware scans and continuous security monitoring.
