If web traffic is a building and search engines as doors, Google will be the biggest door. If all of us try to enter this door, It will be very hard to enter inside the building. We may need to spend a lot of time, money… to get inside the building. There are many article, advices, tips for Google SEO but not many for Live Search, MSN… Why?  Perhap we think that “search engine means Google” but we forget that Microsoft Sites are just the second one for web traffic. If we want to improve our website traffic, Live Search SEO is something that we must do also.

I have read over Live Search webmaster help, Google webmaster help and I think that they are very similar. Both of them put the target to bring the best results for web search users. The target is “Good for Web Users mean Good for Search Engine”. I found that Live Search more clear about how they rank a website than Google does. Live Search consider the following main points for website ranking in an area of the world

1 – Country code top-level domain (ccTLD). For example, specifically targets users in Canada.

2 – Host server location, particularly for .com, .net, and .org.

3 – Language of the body text on the page.

4 – Locale of pages that link to your site.

and for sure, number of links to your urls are the most important points.

I do hope that this articel give you a fresh idea about web traffic building.
